Diane, and family. I am so sorry for your loss. He has joined Hank and the rest of his police buddies and I am sure they are smiling down on us.
I will never forget his turkey noodle soup he made for the New Year's parade. It was the first and only time I went with Hank and there was Gary with his soup. He will always be in our hearts.

To the Tilton family my thoughts and prayers are with you. Gary was a great person and friend always tough on the outside but as you know he was a gentle soul inside. He taught me a lot about the job and life, advice that I still carry with me to this day. Unfortantely I did not get to say goodbye to him but the last time I saw him was in our usual spot the Dunkin Donuts a place we had been a hundred times over. Gary would never let me buy him a coffee yet that evening for some reason he did. As usual I asked him how he was feeling and as usual I got the same answer, ignored, that was Gary. I told him I would drop off a Christmas card and we parted ways. I went to that Dunkin Donuts today and I sat there where we would sit and I had a cup for him. GOODBYE "BUZZARD" Ill miss you... Steve

A Daddy's Love
A fathers touch, A daddy's kiss
A grieving daughter, you're greatly missed.
An empty house, an empty chair
A fathers love, no longer there.
A broken heart, tear filled eye
Another soul to fill the sky.
Many memories in my mind
Some I laugh, some I cry.
The times we shared, the laughs we had
Things I miss when I think of you dad.
Realizing that's all I have to hold on too
Only memories, of what once was you.
Missing your laugh, I will never again hear
That is the reality that fills me with so much fear.
No more smile on your face
No more warmth of your embrace.
The last hug, the last kiss
The last 'goodbye' leaves me with one last wish.
To have you dad, here today,
Never to leave your daughter this way.
A Father's touch, a daddy's kiss
A grieving daughter, you're greatly missed.
