I was a colleague of Elizabeth's at the Akron Beacon Journal. She was as solid a person and journalist out here in Ohiya as she was back east. I was saddened when she decided to return east, but understood. I was really saddened by news of her death. My condolences.

I will always remember her for when she told me she wasn't going to invite me to any of her parties anymore.She said "You just come and don't forget"
