To The Family:
I give my sincerest condolences to the family over the loss of your loved one. During times like this I found comfort in Gods word as recorded at Rev 21:4, which foretells of a time where sickness and death will be done away with. I hope you can find comfort in these words as I have.

What a beautiful, touching send off for Joe. He had more 'best friends' than anyone I know because he was such a great friend to all who were lucky to know him. I miss you so much, buddy.

Joe and I worked together for many years in the early 90's. He made a lasting impression on everyone he met with his infectious smile, kind heart, funny stories, and crystal blue eyes. Everyone always looked forward to seeing Joe. He simply lit up the room and left you with a smile. One of my fondest memories of Joe was his announcement of Jessica's birth. He brought her to the office one day, diaper bag in tow, smiling from ear to ear.
May your wonderful memories of Joe comfort you in this sad time.

Pat I was watching the news and I heard about a man who died helping someone whose car broke down. Then they said his name and I sat there and said I taught a Joe Kealey when I first started teaching at Overbrook JR. i told my husband and wondered if that was him not putting two together and thinking it could be your husband. What a sweet boy he was in seventh grade and smart, heplful. I often wondered what had happeded to those kids because they were so nice back then. i AM SENDING MY heartfelt condolences out to you nand your girls. I can see he had not changed when I had him in class thirty one years ago. He certainly was an angel on the rode. Miss you . May God Bless you and your family

I did not know Joe, but I work for the department and I know how guys like Joe risk their lives everyday doing what they do to help other people on our state highway. My thoughts and prayers are with Joe's family. It sounds like he was a great guy and wonderful husband, father, brother and son. My deepest condolences.

To the family of Joe Kealey,
I am so sad to hear about the death of Joe Kealey. Over the past several years I've been fortunate to be helped by Joe two times. He became my guardian angel. I even told my sister, if you break down on 295, it will probably by Joe who will help you. He was a very sweet man and a great credit to the NJDOT. Please pass on my condolences to his family. What a wonderful man! I will say prayers. Only the good die young. Laura Mayka-Meglio
