McDermott, John Jr. Passed away on December 31st surrounded by family. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 45 years Margaret (nee Vandergrift), his children Jack (Sherry), MaryClaire Brandimarte (Dennis), Bob and Kathleen, his grandchildren Dennis, Michael, Dylan, Deneen, Sammy and Maggie, his siblings Suzanne Mooney, Louis (Barbara), Clairemary, Joseph and Patrick (Judy) and many family and friends especially Mary Ciarma. John loved spending his summers at the Jersey shore. He was a loyal Philly sports fan, especially a Flyers Fan for over 50 years. Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Sunday from 7 to 9 PM and Monday from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at the DANKS-HINSKI FUNERAL HOME, 125 N. White Horse Pike at South Avenue, Lindenwold and the Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 10:30am at St. Joan of Arc Church, 100 Willow Bend Rd, Marlton. Burial to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin.
