Mrs. Bakely always doted over my sister and I as children as well as when we grew into adulthood. Her warm hugs and kind words always made us feel like we were “home”. Never had I known a woman so full of love, kindness and compassion as her. She truly was an Angel living amongst the rest of us. I was so blessed to have known her and had her in my life. It gives me great comfort to know that she is watching over all those she loved in heaven as she did for so many years here on earth. Rest easy you beautiful and amazing friend. You’re home now, spread your sunshine and my love to you and Mr. Bakely… in my heart you’ll forever be.

My dear Snoopy friend, how I miss you already! I am so honored to have known you and I don’t think I ever met a more gentle loving spirit as you, dear Alice! I will miss the Tenebrae service you organized every year! You truly loved our parish and our parish family is better for it! We will all love you forever and miss you with our broken hearts! I have so many beautiful Snoopy items that you shared with me and I will remember you every time I look at them! Rest in Peace, Alice!

I guess someone forgot to mention her other nephews Robert, Joseph and David Gunn or her Neice/God Daughter/Namesake Alice. My favorite memory of Aunt Alice is when I stayed at her and Uncle Bob's home for vacation when I was young. I have to say it ranked as one of my very favorite vacations. It's when we went to a see a movie and in the movie there was a monkey in it called Stanley. Uncle Bob started acting like a monkey after the movie. We had gone out to dinner after the movie and he was acting like a monkey at dinner, I'm sure Aunt Alice was embarrassed by never showed it. It was then Uncle Bob was no longer Uncle Bob he was Stanley. We made cookies from scratch while I was there. Aunt Alice hand mixed the batter and to me she was the coolest. I don't know what happen later in life but to me when I was a child and a young adult she was the best Godmother anyone could ask for. I'm sure she'll be in heaven with Uncle Bob. God Bless you Aunt Alice❣
