Obituary of Robert F Farrell Sr.

Robert F Farrell Sr., 83 years, of Stratford NJ, passed away on December 31, 2020. Beloved husband for over 60 years of Anna G. Farrell (née Planamente). Loving father of Robert F. Farrell, Jr. (Hilda), Anna G. McCausland (Ray), Ellen M. Young and Nicholas W. Farrell. Dear brother of Laurence Farrell (Jeri), Michael Farrell (the late Kathryn) and the late William A. Farrell. Cherished grandfather of Jennifer Ortiz (Michael), Ryan McCausland and Christopher Young and great grandfather of Sean Ortiz and Jaiden Ortiz and great great grandfather of Charlotte Ortiz. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. 

Robert was a life long educator, teaching for 43 years. He taught for 5 years at Pennsville and 38 years at C.W. Lewis Middle School in Blackwood NJ. He also worked as a bus driver for NJ Transit in the summer months. Robert was a negotiator for the New Jersey Education Association and also served on the board of directors for the Stratford Library. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Thursday January 7, 2020 from 9:00AM to 11:00AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish St. Luke Church, 55 Warwick Rd., Stratford NJ 08084. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00AM. Entombment in Locustwood Cemetery Mausoleum, Cherry Hill NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation at PO Box 37920, Boone IA 50037 would be appreciated. Due to the current regulations, face masks must be worn, and attendance will be limited to follow all COVID-19 guidelines.
