To the family of Edward J. Coleman IV,
Please know that the family of Beatrice F. Coleman, holds you in their thoughts and prayers.
“The Lord is close to the broken hearted and saves the crushed in spirit” -Psalm 34:18
We shall miss Eddie’s creativity through the art of his music (guitar). He would relax in his mother’s yard and play. Mrs. Coleman spoke cheerfully of how Eddie would come out and help her start the gas powered/pull lawn equipment when she needed help. I (Cheryl) will miss how he would throw his head back and smile after I would greet him with “What’s up brother”. He was just cool like that!
To Jake, Colin and little Mia: We will miss your brother very much, because he touched our lives in a most caring way.
With our love and deepest condolences,
The Coleman’s Pilesgrove, NJ
The Brown’s Suffolk, VA

Life as I knew it will never be the same. Eddie was a bright light in the dark place this world can be. From the smiling 5 year old learning to count to 100, who loved bowling parties to the teenager who refused to wear deodorant and only wanted to skate. And we can't forget the strong young adult who made it through the most devastating life events you could think of. Especially that shark attack that left him with big scars...I'm kidding of course, but I loved it when he told that story. He was so appreciative, loving, and intellectual way beyond his years. He had fantastic taste in music and I will miss him every single day.
I feel sorry for anyone who did not have the chance to meet Eddie and fall in love with him. I have been blessed to call him my nephew.
I love you, Eddie, please watch over me and your baby cousins.

It was deeply saddening to hear about Eddie. I met him recently through our mutual friend Brandon and the few times I got to spend with him were wonderful.
Thinking of all the family and friends who loved him so in this time of loss. Hold on to all those wonderful memories and each other.

Eddie was such an amazing kid who tugged at our hearts all throughout his life. He was a spunky, full of energy, talented, creative, happy kid growing up. His smile would light up a room and those beautiful blue eyes glowed. We so enjoyed his personality and energy that he had. Our family was so very lucky to have been part of his life. We are hurting so much that he isn't with us but he will ALWAYS be a part of us forever! Eddie... you are free from the pain and can now skateboard until your hearts content! <3

From holding him as an infant, to seeing our favorite bands as a teenager, to having philosophical talks as a young adult, and everything in between, watching him grow has been one of the most blessed aspects of my life. He was more than a nephew. He was a friend. And when we laughed... Oh how we laughed!!

Eddie came into my life in a way that so many others have which I believe is God sent. It only took moments before My heart ❤️ opened up and he has been and always will remain inside my ♥️ . I am a recovering drug addict and my passion is to reach out and help any struggling addicts, God Gabe me my life back and freed my from my chains of addiction, I say all that to say was struggling but he came into my Foundation for help and I watched him grow and overcome hurdles and he was like my son and he attached to everyone as a true brother, he didn’t lie ever and was a man working in his recovery but no one knows when God will call us home and the demons are always at work temptation is the tools the devil uses, I can tell you this about this young man Eddie he was brave he loved everyone and he loved his mother and siblings so completely. He showed his love and he shared his love for his family and friends with me, an angel is now how I have to classify him And heaven gained a power house with Eddie his passion for music and playing his guitar was amazing and skateboarding of course was one of his lifes passions. I can’t put in words the pain I feel in losing him but then I think well he is home with God and he will shine above us always until we meet again on our final day. Knowing Eddie was my greatest honor and through him I have had the gift of meeting his amazing mother Nicole who showed her passion and love for her son as well as other struggling addicts, my great memories are Eddie spending the time with me and We Can Foundation along with his mother coming into Camden to hand out food snacks water and clothing to the homeless and struggling addicts and his mother being there and donating food and water, her time bringing Eddie and others to help the less fortunate, he stood to the call when ever I asked him to help or give back. He made me smile every day and brought joy into our recovery house with his tunes and guitar playing. There so much more I can say but I end in saying I will always love this young man and I will miss him while never forgetting him oh how blessed I am to have met and shared my time with Eddie. Rest well my little soldier fly high and we will meet again.

I’m so very sorry for your loss. I am the Mother of Dominique Jean who was one of his friends. She has conveyed to me her love for Eddie and is heart broken at his loss. She told me all that his obituary says and a bit more of the wonderful life he was. Kind, sweet and a great soul. He is truly missed and the world a bit sadder without him. So sorry. Take hold of his memory when you hurt as that is all we have when those we live have gone on. Know he has found peace as all good souls do.

My heartfelt condolences to Nicole and her family and also Eddies father Ed Coleman. I remember Eddie when he was born and Jackie & Ed would bring him to my house. He was such a smart, cute, and funny child that I always remember that he would smile and laugh all the time. I can’t imagine what you are going through but hopefully knowing that people and family care and your precious memories that you have will help you get through this. Again I am sorry for your lost and my prayers to you ALL.
