Ruth D. Overpeck, (nee McDowell), on February 2, 2014, of Smyrna, De., formerly of Somerdale, age 85. Survived by her loving husband Emil. Devoted mother of Earl (Michele), and James (Susan), proud grandmother of James Jr.,Thomas, Rachel, Jessica, and David. Also survived by sister in-law Jerry, wife of her late brother James McDowell, also predeceased by brother Buck McDowell. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday with calling hours from 10 - 11 AM, followed by a service at 11 AM at the Danks-Hinski Funeral Home, 125 N. White Horse Pike at South Ave., Lindenwold. Interment at the convenience of the family.
