Obituary of John Tate

John “Jack” L. Tate, age 77, of Lindenwold NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 21, 2018, surrounded by his family. He was born July 18, 1941, in Gallitzin, PA. Jack was the beloved husband of the late Jean Tate (nee Evans).  Jack served his country as a member of the United States Navy. He retired from Domestic Uniform as a truck driver.

He is survived by his daughter Theresa Nolan (Michael) and son John Tate (Patricia).  He was dearly loved by his grandchildren Desiree, Erica, Johnathon, Alyssa, Brianna, Aidan and his great granddaughters Jordyn, Isabella, Patricia, Laylani, and Aaliyah. Also survived by nieces, nephews and his cat Princess Maya.

Relatives and friends are invited to join Jack’s family at his visitation on Friday, November 30, 2018, at DANK-HINSKI FUNERAL HOME at 125 N. White Horse Pike, Lindenwold NJ 08021 from 6 PM-8 PM. A memorial service will follow at 8:00 PM, also at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jack’s memory may be made to Boy Scout Troup 177, 28 Temple Ave., Stratford, NJ 08084.
