I am so sorry on the loss of your dear "Jack". What an amazing and accomplished man he was. His obituary also paints him as a one of a kind friend. It is so very hard losing someone so dear to us. The scriptures provide us with comforting words that I thought I'd share with you. At Psalm 34:17 & 18, we read that God can rescue us from our distresses, and he wants to be there for those who mourn. He hears those who cry out to him. Please accept my deepest condolences, and may you find love and support in the company of family and close friends.

We a very sorry for your loss!
Jack was a GREAT neighbor and always quick with a Smile and wave! He and Mary were always together in the yard working away!
The world was a better place with him in it!
If there is anything we can do just call!
With sad hearts we send hugs!

Death leaves a Heartache no one can heal.
But Love leaves a Memory no one can steal.
Love you, Jack! You will live forever in our hearts!

To The Family of Jack Thompson ---
I want to offer my family's condolences on the passing of my dear friend Jack. Working for the State, and being a friend of many CBVI colleagues, I met Jack almost 15 years ago in Cherry Hill. My sympathies also go out to his work family and friends. He was a beautiful soul. I feel blessed to have shared some time with him. And I will always have nice memories of the chats we had when we met up at work. I am grateful to the angels in heaven that our paths crossed in life. A beautiful human being has said goodbye to us. And although it is always a hard "goodbye", especially for the family; our faith tells us that one day we will see our loved ones again. In spirit, he will never be far away. In our hearts, there will always be a special place. In the silence at day's end, when memories of him seep into your mind, invite them into your heart with comfort, because that is where he will always be. We share in your family's sadness. May God give you a peaceful heart in this time of need. And God bless our friend Jack. He will be missed dearly.
