I am so sorry on the loss of your dear Ward. The obituary paints him as a very loving father, Uncle and husband. He is just at rest for a little while until he awakens at the resurrection promised to all those who have fallen asleep in death. (John 5: 28 & 29) My deepest condolences to the family, and may you find comfort in the arms of family and friends during this difficult time.

Uncle Rob, I am so glad I got to talk with you a bit at Hospice where Uncle Chuck was staying. You meant so much to me in my life, especially growing up. You were a father figure and a great one at that. You taught me to swim and play chess among so many other things. You checked out the first car I ever bought to make sure it was right for me. I have a lot of love in my heart for you now and forever.

Dearest Family,
It breaks our hearts that we have lost such a kind, thoughtful, and loving Uncle. We have very fond memories of his visits to Florida and many family functions. One of the most wonderful characteristics of Uncle Ward was his willingness to always role up his sleeves and help whenever needed. In fact, he often would help when not asked as well. We will fervently raise our prayers high for you all and extend the biggest bear hug possible to sweet sweet Aunt Barbara.
We love you all!

Uncle Rob when I look back, one of my memories that always comes back to me, is when I was in little league and in a hitting slump , you saw my frustration and you sat behind the backstop and gave me pointers on my approach to the ball. I didn’t think much about it at the time, but low and behold I got my swing back! Thanks Uncle Rob wish I told u this before.
Love Gary
