Obituary of John C. Sease, Jr.
John Sease on September 20, 2018 of Lindenwold. Survive by his beloved wife Daneille Sease (née Tusson). Also survived by his mother Fannie Louise and step father Marvin Dean and his siblings Linda Evans, Renee Sease, Wanda Sease, Gwen Williams, And Janet Gibbs. John is also survived by his mother and father-in-law James and Brenda Smith and a host of Cousin's nieces and nephews. John is predeceased by his father John C. Sease, his aunt Peggy Sloan, His uncle Primas Sloan and his sister Cynthia D Evans. John was born in Philadelphia, PA and grew up in Willingboro, NJ. He graduated Willingboro High School in 1978 where he ran track both in high school and during the summer with the Junior Olympics. John went onto Clemson University for a year. He went to the University of Kansas on a track scholarship. John was internationally ranked in the high hurdles, and also participated in the 4 by 1 as anchor and the hundred and ten sprint. He was an All American in high school in 1978. He was inducted into the Burlington County Track Hall of Fame in 1985. He was 2 time national champion high hurdles and 2 time first team All American at Gloucester County College. He was the all time record holder at the University of Kansas in the 60 yard high hurdles, and the record has stood for 30 years. He is still in the top 10 all time record holders. After college John worked at Colonial Penn Insurance, General Accident Insurance, and went on to run his own company. It was at this time that he met Daneille Tusson, the love of his life. They were married for 27 years amazing year and were true soul mates. Later he went on to work for Temple University as a guest speaker regarding prejudice and racism, and for ADP Brokerage Division. He left ADP to work for a brokerage firm in New York City, at which time he witnessed and survived the 9/11 attacks. After the attacks he became a day trader and was able to successfully move forward with his career. John was an avid Jayhawks fan, frequently sporting their team's logo on his person. He loved the Denver Broncos, played fantasy football with his friends, and followed college basketball. His passion was public speaking, and he loved to speak to young people to pass on his wisdom, fervor for equality, and compassion for all living things. He volunteered his time at different mentoring programs and as a track coach. He loved music of all kinds, but his favorite was Earth Wind and Fire. John was a straight forward, loving, compassionate man who would do anything for his friends and for strangers alike. His love of life will never be forgotten, and he will be in our hearts always.
