I don't know who will see this, but 39 years ago, I met Mike for the first time when I arrived in Saudi Arabia - October 1981. I would dearly love to connect with any member of his family. I was cleaning out the attic yesterday and came across a box that had in it all of the issue of WOW from Volume 6 #2 (December 1986 - an edition that has a picture of my wedding in it) to Volume 14 #1 (June 1994 and an edition he called "WOW Lite"). It brought back wonderful memories of our times together in Saudi, Bahrain, Cyprus, Greece, and back her in the USA when he attended Cheryl and my wedding, and again in 1990 when we all attended the wedding of our good friend, Arthur McKinney and his bride, Angela, in Hanover, Germany. I will never forget that adventure, when he told me to meet him at the American Express office on a given date at a given time - we weren't even sure there was one in Hanover! There was, and he and Jerry Baker were enjoying beverages at a table at a streetside cafe next door.
We were good friends for too short a period in our lives and I miss those times as I get older. I'll never forget him kissing a camel in the Bahrain desert and all the great times we had on our travels together. Miss you, brother. Rest in peace.
If any family members see this, please contact me. My email address is jjpurcell2004@msn.com

I am truly sorry for your loss. What a passionate, educated and deep thinking man Mr. Freiermuth must have been. Although he is gone, rejoice in the person he was, and know he certainly made a difference in the world. Still, it's hard when we lose someone we love. Please know that God can rescue us from our distresses and he wants to comfort you. (Psalms 34:17 & 18) My deepest condolences to you and yours.
