Joy Elizabeth Caccia (née Ponto), of Stratford, NJ passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at the age of 74. Joy was born to parents Elmer and Ella Ponto on December 14, 1943 in Camden, NJ. She grew up as the eldest of 2 and attended Collingswood High School, class of 1962. She married her first husband, Gary T. Simon Sr, with whom she had one child. Joy remarried in 1995 to Earl Caccia of Laurel Springs, NJ. They enjoyed a life together of love, laughter and travel. Some of their fondest times were spent with friends and family at Belhaven Campground. Earl passed away in 2007. Beloved mother of, Gary T. Simon Jr. She is survived by her son Gary, daughter-in-law Megan C. Simon and their 2 children, Harlow and Miles. She lived by her name, bringing joy to so many. Keeping everyone well fed with her delicious meals. She treated all her son’s friends as her own. She believed everyday should be Christmas. A memorial service will be held for friends and family on June 18th at 2pm at Danks-Hinski Funeral Home at 125 N. White Horse Pike, Lindenwold NJ 08021.
