Dear Uncle Bobby,
I am so sad that you are no longer with us, but I thank God for blessing you with a long life and an easy passing.
You were my closest and most favorite uncle. It was so much fun when we all lived together. You would wake us each morning, then run to the bakery to buy us fresh pastry to eat with our breakfast before school. None of my classmates had a treat like that every morning.
When I was very young, you would chase me and tickle me until I cried with laughter. When I got older, you would hide and jump out. Again, I cried but not from laughter. You and Mike always thought my screams were hilarious.
I loved it when you called me "Louie". I still don't know how that started, but I would call you "Louie" right back and we would crack up.
Even though, Jazz is not my preferred style of music, I remember listening to album after album with you. Because of you, I am well-versed on all the great Blues and Jazz artists and I can hold my own in any conversation with a Jazz aficionado.
Uncle Bobby, you will be greatly missed but I know you are "jazzing it up" with all of those who have gone before you.
You are so loved, Louie. May you rest in peace.
