Obituary of Carole Dorothy Shearer

Please share a memory of Carole to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Carole D. Shearer on April 15, 2018 of Stratford, age 84. Survived by her devoted children Carole (Wayne) Smith, Patricia (Mark Leidy) Shearer, Thomas (William) Hall, and Dianne Shearer; along with her beloved sister Diane McGuigan. She is also survived by her five loving grandchildren Joseph, Christopher, Angelina, Gianna, and Tyler

She spent her life as the head of our family. She is the strongest woman to have ever lived. She is a mother, a grandmother, a sister, a friend and a beacon of love. The smell of her Christmas breakfast … that is where she is. She is never gone. She will forever look over you, as she has always done.

She is remembered for her years of hard work and devotion to her family. Even through difficult times, she lifted up all of those around her. She wasn’t just one person. She was a force of love. Her impact was great and her loss will be deeply felt.
