I am honored to say a few words about my Aunt Kay. I enjoyed my visits with her family in the summers when I was young as she was generous and gracious. She loved her family which included her children and six sisters and two brothers. Often this group of family was referred to as the 'Sisters', which fit aptly into their persona. She was a member of tough ladies that could handle anything that was put in front of them. We were blessed with recently being able to visit her. She was sharp as knife and funny as usual. Aunt Kay had the ability to tell the right joke at the right time, or the right 'prank'. Growing up around Aunt Kay and the Sisters endued a sense of family that had a lasting impact. It was an honor and pleasure to have been able to know her growing up. I wish her children and family well and may their sadden hearts be healed. Love you, Aunt Kay and you will be missed.
