Obituary of John P. Farrell

John (Jack) P. Farrell of Blackwood NJ, formerly of Stratford NJ, age 85, passed peacefully on January 13, 2017 surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of the late, great, Katherine (Lehane) Farrell, and loving father of Michael Farrell (Barbara), Joseph (Regina) Farrell, Mary (Steven) Matyas, John Farrell, Eileen Farrell, and Kathleen (Christopher) Lucas. Adoring Grandfather of 15 beautiful Grandchildren and cherished Great-Grandfather of 7 adoring Great-Grandchildren. Loving brother of Barbara Miller, Patricia Canale and the late William Farrell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. 
 

John raised his children in Stratford, NJ where he was an active member of the community, Serving as the Chairman of the Zoning Board, a member of the Sterling School Board, President of the DPMA, and a member of the St. Luke’s Parish Men’s Club.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Friday January 19, 2017 from 9AM – 10:45 AM at Danks-Hinski Funeral Home at 125 N. White Horse Pike, Lindenwold NJ 08021. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM, also on Friday January 19, 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe parish at St. Lawrence campus.
