Charles J. Haviland, on October 10, 2013, of Laurel Springs, age 85. Loving husband of Edith (nee Clark) for 60 years, devoted father of Kathleen (Dennis) Callaghan, Rosemarie (Michael) McNally, Christine (Joseph) Caprice, Charles "Kelly" (Meredith) and the late Doug. Proud grandfather of Lisa, Erinrose, Eileen, Gregory, Sean, Robert, Matthew, Alexis, Christopher and one great grandson Michael Patrick and multiple nieces and nephews. Also survived by one sister Mary (Robert) Walker and brothers Arthur (Dolores),Robert (Ceil), and William and predeceased by brothers Jack, Donald, and Eugene. Charlie worked at Atlantic Richfield as an accountant manager for 48 years. He was an avid softball pitcher and pitched a perfect game in the 70's and later he was an umpire. He was also an avid golfer. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict, he was a devoted member of St. Lawrence Church and was an usher for many years. He graduated from LaSalle University and the Wharton School of Business. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a viewing on Wednesday between 9 - 10:45 AM at the Danks-Hinski Funeral Home, 125 N. White Horse Pike at South Ave., Lindenwold. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, St. Lawrence Campus.
