Obituary of Mary Hawkins

Mary Rose Hawkins is preceded in death by her son Douglas Hawkins and Grandson Logan N.Hawkins. She is survived by four children: Craig Hawkins, Laura Hawkins, Nanci Williams and Logan I. Hawkins, and her Grandchildren, Darrick L. Hines Jr. and Gemma Hess.

Our Mother was a very humble woman; she never liked to be the center of attention. She wouldn't want us to focus on the sadness of her death. Instead, she’d want us to focus on our lives. She would want us to appreciate each other and our future together as a family unit.

We will all miss the aspects of her presence and influence; her laugh, nurturing nature, hard work ethic and kindness to others. Please take comfort in the good feelings of your personal memories.

Mom, if all you gave us was life, we’d love and honor you for that alone. But you gave us shelter, nourishment, guidance and a lot of cab rides - lol. 

Thank you for working so hard as a proud Nurse and trying your best in your own special way. 

We thank you for teaching us to always work our hardest, share with others and to Never Give Up!

Please join us in the celebration of her life! Amemorial service will be held on friday August 25, 2017 between 11:00 am and 1:pm at the Danks-Hinski Funeral Home, 125 N. White Horse Pike at Stone Road in Lindenwold.
