Obituary of Gertrude M. White

Gertrude M. White on July 21, 2017 of Laurel Springs, age 86. Survived by her beloved children Gertrude Daube (Robert), Patricia Overstreet (Ernie), and Peter White (Laura). Also Survived by 14 loving and Devoted Grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. 
Gertrude gave selflessly of her time serving for many years as a troop mother for Scout Troop 31, a CCD teacher at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, and a Visiting Chaplain at Methodist Hospital in Philadelphia. She was blessed with the ability to make friends of perfect strangers in mere minutes. She offered compassion and comfort to the heartbroken, laughter to those who needed a lift, prayed for peace for the anxious, talked with every baby she encountered, and gifted all whom she touched with her loving kindness. She was our angel. As you think of her, imagine her resting at the feet of the Blessed Mother and consider the words of Psalm 23, her favorite passage of the Bible. Services will be at the convenience of the family and are being handled by Danks Hinski Funeral Home, 125 N.
