Obituary of Thomas C. Brennan
Lt. Col (RET) Brennan, Thomas, age 67, passed away on June 19th, 2017 after long battle with bladder cancer. Tom lived in Barstow, CA, prior to moving to Lindenwold, NJ in 2006.
Tom Brennan was born in Denver, Colorado. He was a member of the California National Guard for 37 years serving in both Divisional and Non-divisional assignments culminating as the Chief of the 40th ID Material Management Center (DMMC). He was also a Dual Status Technician for 30 years serving in a variety of assignments in the Surface Maintenance Office culminating as the Superintendent of the Fort Irwin Maneuver Area Training Equipment Site (MATES) and the Long Beach Combined Support Maintenance Shop (CSMS). Lt. Col (RET) Brennan was retired from service on 30 June 2004 and received many awards for his service including, the Meritorious Service Medal and the Order of California.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Borger. A cremation has been completed. The family requests in lieu of flowers, please make a donation in his honor to the Wounded Warrior Project at PO Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8517, your local animal shelter or your favorite charity.
