May Louise Shinn (nee Rooney) on January 27th, 2017 of Voorhees, age 93. Loving wife of the late John C., beloved mother of James J., Denise, Debbie, and her spouse Mary Jane, Jeffery R., and the late John C. III. Proud grandmother of Lisa, Adam, Patrick, Matthew, Heather, and John, and six great grandchildren. Also survived by two sisters, Kathy Cooney and Shirley Lesher and one brother Michael Rooney. Mrs. Shinn was a career nurse, a member of the Lucaston Fire Department Lady’s Auxiliary, and a resident of Brookdale Senior Living. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a viewing on Wednesday, between 10 and 11 AM at the Danks-Hinski Funeral Home, 125 North White Horse Pike at Stone Rd, Lindenwold . Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, St. Lawrence campus of Lindenwold, interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Berlin NJ.
