Thomas Michael McKelvey, January 20, 2017, of Lindenwold, age 96, combat veteran of the United States Navy, serving in the South Pacific during WWII. Loving husband of the late Virginia(nee Sloan) . Devoted father of Jerry and his wife Shirley of Florida, Bill and his wife Lorraine of Haddon Heights, Tom Jr. and his wife Marge of Ocean City, Gini Stakely and her husband Steve of Chesilhurst, and the late Michael of Lindenwold. Proud grandfather of Jamie and his wife Robin, Joey, Chris, Billy, Danielle and her husband Matt, Michelle Craig and her husband Don, Alyssa Angelino, Nick and his wife Nicole and Lisa, and great grandchildren Alex, Rachel, Jake, Billy, Julia, Samuel, Gemma, Luke, Randi, Madison, Marco, Donny and Taylor. Survived by siblings Anna Mae Walsh, Jimmy Walsh and his wife Judy, and Evie Calabria. Also survived by many grand doggies, especially Meka, Mr. Weiner and Shi who came to visit often. Special thanks to care giver June Streeper and Samaritan Hospice Center for all their care and kindness during a most difficult time. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a viewing on Wednesday morning between 9 – 11 am followed by a service at 11 am at the Danks-Hinski Funeral Home, 125 N. White Horse Pike at South Ave., Lindenwold. Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin. Donations in his honor may be made to Samaritan Hospice Center.
