Obituary of Norman J. Davis

Please share a memory of Norman to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Norman J. Davis, on November 11, 2016, of Blackwood, age 101 years young. Norman went home to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Son of the late Nellie (nee Cullen) and Samuel Davis. Beloved husband of the late Catherine. Uncle Nor was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his loving nieces and their husbands, Dolores McConaghy and the late Joseph, Ellen and Vito Zizzamia, Lorraine and Dennis Pichen, and Joanne and Stanely Kulikowski, and numerous great nieces and nephews and many special friends. Uncle Nor was an avid golfer, loved the casinos and playing the lottery. In his youth, he caddied along with his brother Bud at Pine Valley Golf Course, where he also played more than a few rounds. He was a loving, lively, bigger than life personality, with a giving heart to match. Up until the end, he was sharp minded and still possessed his sense of humor. We were so blessed to have him in our lives. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a viewing on Thursday between noon and 1pm at the Danks-Hinski Funeral Home, 125 N White Horse Pike at South Ave., Lindenwold. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1pm at our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, St. Lawrence Campus. Interment will be at New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations in his honor may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Condolences may be offered at www.dankshinskifuneralhome.com.
