Obituary of Edward Steven Dilworth

Edward Steven Dilworth, on August 16, 2016, of Lindenwold, age 52. Loving husband of the late Kelly (nee Tremblay). Survived by his mother Geraldine (Gerry) Dingwitz, his father Richard Dilworth and wife Judi. Also survived by three sisters Mary Lou & husband Jerry Slusar of VA, Marlene Dilworth and Karen McClean. His uncle Bill Doyle, 5 nieces, 3 nephews and 2 great nieces also survive Ed. Ed enlisted in the Air Force after high school. Ed honored Veterans on Memorial Day by placing flags at the local cemeteries. He was a dedicated employee of Sony Music for 15 years in Pitman NJ. Ed was a member of the Woodbury American Legion Post 133 & always drove the ladies auxiliary in the convention parade in his decorated truck AKA float. He was an Officer at the Lindenwold Moose Lodge 548. He was also on the Dart, Washers and Shuffleboard leagues. His latest nickname was Uncle Uber providing taxi service for Sean and Mary McClean.
Ed and his unique dry humor will be greatly missed by family and friends
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to visit with the family on Thursday evening between 6 and 8 pm followed by a service at 8pm at the Danks-Hinski Funeral Home, 125 N. White Horse Pike at South Ave., Lindenwold. Condolences may be offered at www.dankshinskifuneralhome.com .
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be sent to Toys for Tots - www.toysfortots.org or American Legion Post 133 Ladies Auxiliary, 1018 Washington Ave Woodbury, NJ 08096.
