She retired from AAA of South Jersey of Voorhees after 16 years of service in the accounting department.
For her 25th wedding anniversary George had a beautiful home built for them in Middletown, Delaware. Judy was a loving and devoted daughter, niece, mother and grandmother and great grandmother.
After her father passed away on 5/8/92 she and George took care of her mother and after her mother passed in 4/11/98 she kept her promise to her mom and took care of her Aunt Ida until she passed on 12/18/08. Judy leaves behind her lifelong best of best friends Pat Bohn.
George and Judy loved the cruises they took, time at their shore home and their wonderful life together and their hot air balloon ride. Even with all her family responsibilities Judy found time to serve others. She was a past president and Life Member of Oaklyn Fire Co. Ladies Aux, VP and life member of Gibbsboro Fire Co. Ladies Aux., Life member, President and County Rep. to Camden County and New Jersey State Ladies Fire Co. Aux. And let’s not forget all the bus trips, preparing hot dogs for Gibbsboro 4th of July, all the pancake breakfast, time spent on the AAA social committee, then the Spring Arbor Committees.
Judy will be laid to rest next to George and his first wife and Judy’s longtime friend E Colleen Rogers who passed away on 11/27/86.
Rest in Peace you have earned it.
We would like to thank all of you who loved and knew her for your prayers and support. In lieu of flowers and donations, Judy would wish for all of us to continue to show kindness and compassion to others.
