Benjamin O. Heady, Jr., on August 2, 2015, of Lindenwold (formerly of Mount Holly), passed away at age 89. USMC veteran of WWII from 1944-1946. Participated in the battle of Iwo Jima, occupation of Japan: 23Sep45-20Oct45 and in the first Atom Bomb Test - Operation Crossroads. He is survived by his loving wife Jean, also survived by his children Benjamin and his wife Stephanie, Patricia Garvey, John and his wife Alicia Ivins, and Thomas and his wife Diana Ivins. Proud grandfather of ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a viewing on Thursday morning between 10 and 11 AM at the Danks-Hinski Funeral Home, 125 N. White Horse Pike at South Ave., Lindenwold. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish St. Lawrence Campus, Interment at Cave Hill Cemetery, Louisville, Kentucky.
