Deborah A. Vencus, 59 years of age, passed away on June 21 after illness surrounded by loving family. Predeceased by loving parents Thomas and Catherine Kanz, and mother-in-law Catherine Vencus. Survived by loving dedicated husband of thirty-seven (37) years Frank X. Vencus, and precious daughter Kaitlin. Also survived by father-in-law Victor Vencus Sr., brothers James Kanz (Mary Lou), Thomas Kanz (Carol), Kevin Kanz (Drena), sisters Linda Ferretti (James), Donna Weiss (Dave), brother-in-laws Victor Vencus Jr (Nancy), Paul Vencus (Patti), sister-in-laws Karen Baittinger (Kenneth), Patrice Vencus (John), Lyn Vencus, and Donna DiLanzo, and an abundance of loving nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews. Debbie was an avid reader (especially while floating in the pool), enjoyed the beach and skiing with her husband and daughter. Her love of animals was demonstrated through her dedicated volunteer work. Debbie consistently gave more than she received. A consummate entertainer, her door was always open to family and friends. Her thoughtful and generous spirit is an inspiration that will live on through those whose lives she touched. June 25 between 6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Fri. June 26, 9:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m., followed by funeral mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin.
