On Monday, July 8, 2013, Nancy Matchett-Comley (nee Yocum), age 76, passed away peacefully at the home of her oldest daughter Dottie in Lindenwold, NJ. Nancy grew up and raised her children in Laurel Springs, NJ from 1940 to 2006. Loving wife of the late John Comley and beloved mother of Dorothy Matchett of Lindenwold, Nancy Robinson wife of Alan of Lindenwold, Michael Matchett husband of Monica of Lindenwold and JoAnn Joiner wife of Dennis of Cape May Court House. Grandmother of nine, great grandmother of one, also survived by her brother Robert Yocum of Sewell, one niece and one nephew. Life long friend to Paul Lawhorn and James Mulhern. Although she belonged to many outstanding organizations, she was an avid supporter of children, the less fortunate, patriotism and politics. Family was always her first priority although her thoughtfulness often extended to strangers. She was always a source of encouragement and strength and had a kind word for everyone. She was passionate about meeting new people and traveling with her husband. She will be greatly missed but leaves behind the warmest of memories for those who knew her. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to call on the family on Thursday evening between 6:30 and 7:30 PM, followed by a service at 7:30 at the Danks-Hinski Funeral Home, 125 N.
