Vitina “ Vita” Mazzarella (nee Toummia)
Age 87 of Hudson, Florida. Vita passed on November 10, 2014 surrounded by family. Loving wife to Benjamin Mazzarella for 66 years, devoted mother to Benjamin (Joanie), Bernadette Maguire (John) and Emilia Haas. Dear sister to Marco Toummia (Rachel), Josephine Iannace (Robert), Madeline Duddy (George) and the late Mary Valerie (Carl), Joseph Caucci (Gloria) and Salvatore Toummia (Eileen). Additionally Vita is survived by 9 grandchildren and spouses, 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Originally from Camden, Vita raised her family in Pine Hill and eventually retired to Hudson, FL where she lived out the remainder of her life. Vita was happiest when she was with her family. She worked hard to stay close to immediate and extended family. A wonderful Matriarch, Vita could always be counted on to remember every important occasion with a card and a kind sentiment. Every family function you could find a wonderful dessert tray with her exceptional Italian cookies. Her absence will leave a void that none can replace.
