Walter “Bud” R. Carpenter, on September 6, 2014, of Laurel Springs, age 92. Loving husband of the late Margaret “Peggy” (nee Lee), loving father of Carol and Karen, proud grandfather of Kevin, Kirsten, Eric, Allison, Dan, Michael and Matthew, and three great grandchildren, Lorali, Connor, and Annalise. Also survived by one sister Marion Burton. Mr. Carpenter served in WWII in the 5th Army Air Corp , 4th Air Drome Squadron and received a Purple Heart and Philippine Liberation Medal for his service. Bud is entering his next adventure where he will happily reunite with loved ones. Pop will take with him a love of gardening, woodworking, music, genealogy and history, but most importantly he enjoyed spending time with his family and reminiscing about his wonderful life. He was “The Man.” Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a viewing on Wednesday from 9:30 – 10:45 AM, followed by a service at 11:00 AM at the Danks-Hinski Funeral Home, 125 N. White Horse Pike at South Ave., Lindenwold. Interment at Gate of Heaven cemetery, Berlin. Condolences may be offered at www.dankshinskifuneralhome.com.
