Michael Maiorano, 220 W. Rittenhouse Sq. posted a condolence
As our building's contracted mechanical technician, Bob has been there whenever we needed him. He has gotten us through some tough times with various equipment failures at 220 WRS, while also preventing many others. Over the years as Bob changed companies, so did we. From Williard, to York/Johnson Controls, to Emcor/Fluidics, we only wanted Bob working on our equipment. His thoroughness and dedication won our loyalty and trust, but his character and personality won our friendship. Bob was part of our “team”, our “family”, he was one of us. He was a teacher, a mentor and a friend all in one. Bob will surely be missed by anyone who knew him.
Our deepest condolences go out to the family,
Michael Maiorano

As we go through life we meet many people; some memorable, some not so, You were one the memorable ones. I remember how kind and generous you were in fixing my air conditioning inmy car year after year. I also remember how fun you were to be with; like with the water guns at our July 4th picnic. People like you Bobby will stay in our hearts forever.

Uncle Bob, you are the kind of uncle any kid could ever want. You invested your time and energy in me with love and pride. You showed interest in all the things I was interested in. You taught me lots of handy things that I will always carry with me as I build my own life, home, and future. I got most of my sense of humor from you, and I will never, ever forget your laugh. It’s the liveliest laugh I’ve ever heard, and it could never be duplicated. Your thoughts on life and time will NEVER be lost from my mind. And you really took all the pranks I pulled on you well… from me calling you pretending to be the ASPCA, to messing with the hot/cold controls from inside the beach house while you were trying to enjoy the outdoor shower. Perhaps the one that will live forever was when I started hammering your siding nails back out from inside the house while you were hammering them in from the outside (sorry). But after each prank you would still hug me and be my friend… partly ticked off, but partly proud. After all, who else could I learn these kinds of things from??? I admire you so much, and I miss you even more. While I can’t imagine my life without you, my life is so, SO much better for having you in it. Some of the best times I can remember came from moments when you were right there by my side. Thank you for always caring about me and giving me your undivided attention when we were together. I love you, and I know I will see you again someday. Until then, I’ll carry you with me wherever I go.

December 2014 Bobby long time no see. I know I will see you again one day. I have pain in my heart because I never thanked you for what you did for me. YOU CARED enough to help me find myself. The unselfish act of love you gave me meant so much. The three of us laughing, teasing and sharing. Your sister Chris still cries and misses you. I remember the good .
Love E. Kelly
