We only knew Ret for a few years but she touched our lives in that little bit of time. We will surely miss her and know she is sitting with our Lord now and forever.

Dearest Hlopak Family
With deepest sympathy and my sincerist condolences. What a GREAT Mom!
I remember meeting your Mother and Father after a Navy FB game and instantly being invited to Maple Avenue for weekends and other functions. "Mom" always took great pride in including all of her "boys" from Navy as part of the family. I was very fortunate to have my father living so close in PA that a quick run to Lindenwald to see "Mom" and hang with Bill was always a treat.
May God Bless her eternally for her shared love, kindness, and legacy here on earth.
With Full Respect and Deepest Sympathy
Dave

Ed, Bill, Joy, and Families,
My sincerist condolences. I was saddened to hear of your Mom's passing. I will always fondly remember her enthusiasm, generoristy, and kindness. What a great Mom to have where you can bring your friends home and have them treated like one of the family. Her graciousness and hospitality were endless. From midshipman to grown man, I always looked and hoped to see her at Navy football games. She will be missed, but time will heel the sorrow we feel now and we'll cherish the fond memories. I will cherish the warmth with which she hugged. with Deepest Sympathy, Bill

As Joy's sister-in-law, I have had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Hlopak at various family gatherings. She was NEVER without a beautiful smile on her face, and was always full of grace and fun—traits she has handed down to her daughter:) And such a loving mother and grandmother! I'm sure she will be terribly missed by all who knew and loved her, but she will certainly never be forgotten.
I'm certain that Great Aunt COnnie was waiting up at heaven's door to give Luretta a welcoming pot of flowers (like the ones she "borrowed" from the Hlopak doorstep when Joy got married)!
Sending much love and healing light from the Corapis in KNoxville,
Annie

Luretta, you were my hero!! I was always amazed at how you had such a great outlook on life. Nothing was ever to much trouble!! You traveled the world when most your age were too tired. You had such energy--we all wish we could be so lucky. We love and will miss you!!!!
