Mrs. Mesisca was a wonderful woman with a great sense of humor. She loved being with her family and would not miss a chance to be with them, especially down the shore. I will always remember her and Greg's bond over anything chocolate and sneaking some before dinner at family events at Phil and Michele's house. Also, the fun time we had at the beach front house in Ocean City in September a few years ago where she loved to sit on the porch and look out at the Ocean (compliments of Phil and Michele). She will be missed dearly.

To Bernice Mesisca,
Some people live lives that are empty while others create, love and live life to the fullest. We never knew each other well although Phil would talk about you informally. I worked closely with your son Phil and met your other PENN children. Wow! What a family! That doesn't happen by chance. It happens because parents like you invested time, sweat and tears and love to build the foundations and core values that will carry for generations to come. What more can anyone ask for from a life? God bless those that create Goodness. You certainly had a great recipe`. Sorry I didn't get to know you better.

We will never forget Bernice, we had a special bond with her and Phil. She was our sis-ter-in-law but truly our sis-ter! We can never forget the fun we had raising the kids, the trips and vactions and of course the shore! May GOD watch over her as well as Phil and the family. We will miss her terribly!

Your mom always made me feel at home. Whenever I had a bad day or just was hungry, I would walk to 17 rolling "stones" road and her warm smile and laugh would chase my dark clouds away. She always listened and was a true angel. Her family pride and Irish pride always shined!

Dear Phil and family, so sorry for your loss. Bernice wasn't just a sister in law, she was more like a sister. Always fun to be around, she put up a good front even when suffering with pain. No one can take her place. I will miss her so much. Can't believe she won't be with us anymore. Love, Helen (aunt Helen)
