REV. CHARLES M. BURTON, SR. went home to be with the Lord on August 16, 2012 of West Berlin NJ, age 75. Survived by his loving wife Dawn, beloved father of Bernadette (David) Clune, Charles M. Jr. (Denise), Dennis (Shirley), Jeanette Smith (Ronald) and Isaac. Proud grandfather of 17 and 11 great grandchildren. Also survived by 3 brothers, Joseph (Peg), Thomas (Peggy) and John (Jean) and the late Florence, and many nieces and nephews. Rev. Burton served in the Army during the Korean War, retired from the Air Force Reserves, retired from the Philadelphia Police force after 25 years of service, worked for the Family Service Association for 22 years, Pastor for 6 years at Memorial United Methodist Church in Pine Hill and served for 2 years at Ewan United Methodist Church. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a viewing on Monday eve 7-9pm and again on Tues 10-11am followed by a service at 11am at the Sicklerville United Methodist Church, 406 Church Rd Sicklerville NJ. Interment at Cross Keys United Methodist Cemetery in Williamstown. Funeral under the direction of Danks - Hinski Funeral Home of Lindenwold NJ.
