VIGELIS, COL. EUGENE R.Of Lindenwold, on December 3, 2008, age 75. Loving father of Gene and his wife Phaik Loo, Susan Della Speranza and her husband Vince of South Carolina and Eric of Trevose, PA. Proud grandfather of Nathan, Heather, Leanna and Lauren. Also survived by sister, Birute Smith of Pennsville and brother John Vigelis of Haddonfield.Mr. Vigelis was a Colonel in the US Army. He served for 34 years. Two Tours of Duty in Vietnam and one in the Korean Conflict. He received the Bronze Star and two Purple Hearts. He worked for the State Department with the Lithuanian Government as an interpreter and advisor.
