BARRETT, Carol M. (nee Lang) of Pitman on May 18, 2007 at age 85. Wife of the late Thomas F. Mother of Charles Ayers, Knoxville, TN, Bruce E. Barrett, Mickelton, NJ, Karen Arenz of Milmay, NJ. Also Survived by 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Carol was a member and former president of the West Jersey Chapter of the Sierra Club. She was a member of the Newton Creek Conservancy (a historical and environmental protection organization) and she took a leadership role in the Pinelands preservation efforts. She was an animal lover and supported many humane societies. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Under the direction of the DANKS-HINSKI FUNERAL HOME, 125 N. White Horse Pike, Lindenwold. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Carols memory be made to the Sierra Club, 85 Second St., 2nd Fl., San Francisco, CA 94105.
