HAMMER, JOHN F. Died on March 31, 2007of Lindenwold, NJ, age 79. Beloved Husband of 53 yrs. to Anne C. (nee DiStefano). Devoted father of MaryAnne and husband TomParviskhan ofClementon, Janet H. Phillips and companion Ed Diamond of Palmyra, AnnaMarie and husband Greg Smargiassi of Stratford. Proud and loving grandfather of Michele and husband Michael Church, Cheryl Parviskhan and Jessica Smargiassi. John was born and raised in Phila. He was a Navy Vet. of W.W.II and an Army Vet. of the Korean War. For 40 yrs John worked as a diesel mechanic for several area companies, he also worked for Wells Fargo as a security guard for 5yrs before retiring. He was a member of the Lindenwold Moose Lodge 548, a member of Gibbsboro Amer. Legion Post 371, and V.F.W Post 6253. John enjoyed camping, hunting, sail boating, dancing and sports especially the Eagles, but his greatest love was his wife and family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Weds. 9 to 10:45 AM at St. Lawrence Church, South Ave. at White Horse Pike Lindenwold, where his Funeral Mass will begin at 11am.
