Obituary of Louise Lista

Louise Lista (née Carozza), 93 years of Stratford NJ, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her husband and children on February 23, 2023. Daughter of the late Eliodero and Teresolina (née Pili) Carozza. Last surviving sibling of six children, Mary, Frank, Jean, Ralph, and Angie. Beloved wife of Rudolph L. Lista, (74 years of marriage). Loving mother of Linda (Leon) LaBella, Michele (the late Edward) Novak, Louise (Carmen) Mangano, Frances (Joseph) Divon, Thomas (Diane) Lista, Tina (Franklin) Adair and the late Michael Lista, Rudolph Lista. Cherished grandmother of 13 and great grandmother of 9. Also predeceased by her dear sister-in-law Eva C. Lista. 

Louise was a devout Catholic and devoted member of her parish. She was involved with the Catholic Daughters of America attending many fundraising events in her earlier years providing the community with her famous homemade baked pies and baked goods. She loved spending time in the kitchen sharing her recipes with the family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Wednesday March 1, 2023, from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish St. Luke Church 55 Warwick Rd, Stratford NJ. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00AM. Interment will take place privately.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to either Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish at 135 N. White Horse Pike, Lindenwold NJ 08021 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105 would be appreciated.
