Obituary of Bryan Lee Turner
Bryan Turner, 60 years of Clementon passed away on January 1, 2023. Bryan was born July 28th,1962 in Baltimore, MD to Clarence and Gladys (née Norton) Turner. Bryan is the brother to (14) siblings: Clarence, Charlott, Douglas, Georgie, Michelle, Jeffrie, Connie, Erwin (deceased) Marc and Marcia (twins) Darwin, Angie, Jennifer and Joslin (twins). He is survived by his Aunt Dorothy Norton and Uncle Edwood Turner and a host of family and friends. Bryan was blessed to be a father to son Bryan Turner, Jr. and daughter Jessica Turner. He is the proud Grandfather of Khaniya Mcglaughlin, Bryan Turner, III, Treasure Turner, Tyiliah Moten, and also a Great Grandfather. In 2006, Bryan met his life partner and wife in Washington, D.C. They fell in love and on 1/26/06 he married Vermel Dodds-Turner. They shared their blended families. Vermel’s children-Son, Eugene, Daughter Krystal and Grands Jeremiah, Shemiah, and Nariah.
Bryan went to Maryland public schools and joined Job core as a young man. He worked for Manuel Landscaping but his passion and penchant was for orderliness. His portrait should have been on the Mr. Clean bottle. When it came to a place for everything and everything in its place Bryan was the Grand Master, hands down. He could clean better than any of those Molly Maids crews. The family would teasingly say to each other “ I hope Bryan’s coming over’ He’s gonna have this place spic n span in a New York Minute.’ His heart was as big as all outdoors too. He’d give his last to anyone. Vermel would brag about him cooking breakfast for her ‘in bed’ before going to their church Bethany Baptist Church.
Brian knew God and God knew him. At the appointed time and date God called Bryan Lee Turner home. He was with his loving wife when he began to transition. He was hanging on to life by a thread. He needed Vermel to give him the sign that all is well. He took his last breath. Vermel let him know that it was okay for him to leave. It was the first day of the New Year 2023. Praise God for His Grace n Mercy.
