Obituary of Rita M. Pilla

Rita M. Pilla (ReRe) sadly passed away suddenly on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at the age of 50. Rita was born in Philadelphia PA, grew up in Stratford NJ and was a long time resident of Delray Beach FL. Beloved daughter of Anthony A. Bilotta and the late Rita (nee Zingarelli). Dear fiancé of Joe Librie. Devoted mother to Gianna, Jeffrey and Sophia Pilla. Adored sister of Dina (Tony) Nocito. Loving Aunt to Anthony Joseph and Anna Rose Nocito.

Rita was a completely devoted and proud Mother to her three children and she did everything she was capable of to be there for them. Even though she lived out of state, she made a point to come back to NJ for every holiday and for every milestone that each of her kids reached. Her children were her pride and joy, and she was forever proud of everything they accomplished.

Rita’s greatest passion was helping other women in recovery. Her life’s work was dedicated to working with other women through their drug and alcohol addiction, as well as their mental challenges. Rita’s life has left an amazing and lasting impact on hundreds of women and families’ lives and helping them not only through their addictions but also providing them a sense of belonging. 

We will always remember ReRe as a natural helper, a free spirit, who loved to dance, sing and listen to freestyle music.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Celebration of Life, on Friday, October 28, 2022 from 9:00AM to 11:00 AM at DANKS-HINSKI FUNERAL HOME, 125 N. WHITE HORSE PIKE, LINDENWOLD NJ 08021. Memorial Service to begin at 11:00AM. Interment will take place privately. In lieu of flowers, please make your donations to her beloved Wayside House, 378 NE Sixth Avenue, Delray Beach FL 33483.
