Obituary of Dorothy G. McFadden

Dorothy G. McFadden (née Bonsted), 88 years, of Atco NJ formerly of Stratford NJ, passed away on September 10, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Charles P. McFadden. Loving mother of Karen P. Levihn (Kent), Michael S. McFadden (Lynn) and Daniel B. McFadden (Nettie). Dear sister of the late Gus Bonsted (Pearl). Cherished grandmother of Rachael, Shannon, Kimberly, Sarah, Heather and Meagan and great grandmother of Lily and James.

Dorothy was a very active member of the May Flower Society and the Cara Irish Society. She enjoyed baking, especially her Christmas cookies which she would give out to all of her family and friends. She loved to knit slippers in her spare time and would give them to everyone she met. Dancing and traveling with her beloved Charles was her favorite thing to do. She also enjoyed researching her lineage in her spare time. Dorothy was the neighborhood mother in Stratford and was a devout member of St. Luke’s Church.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Friday September 16, 2022 from 11:00AM to 12:00PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish St. Luke’s Church, 55 Warwick Rd., Stratford NJ. Mass of Christian Burial 12:00PM. Interment to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin NJ. Arrangements under the direction of the DANKS-HINSKI FUNERAL HOME, 125 N.
