Obituary of Fred L. DiMatties

Fred L. DiMatties, 77 years, of Williamstown NJ, passed away suddenly on July 3, 2022. Son of the late Louis and Josephine (née Smaglio) DiMatties. Beloved husband of Nancy (née Gale). Loving father of Denise Bozarth and Dean DiMatties. Dear brother of Mary Ann (Peter) Deirocini and brother-in-law of Marion (Dan) Brown and Melvin (Mary) Horner. Cherished grandfather of Aaron Bozarth. Loving uncle of Kristine (Dennis) McKeever, Peter (Donna) Deirocini, Tammy (Dan) Atchison, Jeff (Karen) Brown and Jonathan (Karen) Horner.  

Fred was a hardworking, selfless, caring and loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. His family meant the world to him...always putting them first. He married his high school sweetheart, Nancy, and was blessed to share 57 beautiful years with the love of his life. He loved and adored his children beyond measure and his grandson Aaron was his pride and joy! They shared a bond like no other and he was such a proud "Pop". 

He loved fishing, crabbing, weekends at the shore with his love and being anywhere by the water... "his happy place". He was employed at the Lumberton Twp. B.O.E. for 25 years and gained many wonderful friendships throughout those years. Spending time with his neighbors was special to him, especially because he considered them family. He will be missed terribly, loved always and forever in our hearts.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Monday evening from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at the DANKS-HINSKI FUNERAL HOME, 125 N. WHITE HORSE PIKE, LINDENWOLD NJ 08021. Funeral service 7:00PM at the funeral home. Interment will take place privately. Flowers accepted, or contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105 would be appreciated.
