Obituary of Barbara L. Campbell
Barbara Louise Campbell of West Berlin, NJ died on February 14th 2022 after battling COPD and Congestive Heart Failure. She spent the final two weeks of her life at home surrounded by loved ones.
Barbara was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend who is survived by her son Robert Cheeseman, Jr of Delran and daughter Diane M Cheeseman of Blackwood, as well as her sister Nancy Waters and her grandchildren, Melissa Cheeseman and Griffin Cheeseman. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Howard and Edith Campbell, her brother Richard Campbell and the love of her life, Bill Curry.
Barbara was a retiree of the World Trade Division of the Delaware River Port Authority where she served as an executive secretary and IT technician. She loved her home in the mountains and the Jersey shore and found delight in being Mom Mom of the lake. Her hobbies included hunting, bee keeping, needlepoint, toll painting, reading, old movies and British TV. She was also a musician who was proficient on the piano and could play many different instruments.
She loved vacationing and going to the casinos with her friend Carmella Fanelle. She also took pleasure in traveling with her grandchildren on trips that included Disney, Hawaii and Australia. One of her favorite trips was to Alaska with Bill Curry.
Services for Barbara will take place privately. Arrangements under the direction of the DANKS-HINSKI FUNERAL HOME, LINDENWOLD NJ.
