My Mama Rose. The night my Michael died I called to talk to a parent. Dad wasn't home but Rose was. She kept me sane and stayed with me on the phone til a friend could come sit with me. She was every bit the mother to me she has always been to my sisters and I. I knew everything would be OK eventually because she was my comfort.
I love you Rosie. Please be at peace and we will take care of Daddy.

My first and favorite memory of Rose was when Adam and I got off the plane in Dallas and she held her arms out with a big smile and Adam jumped into her open arms and open heart. I miss her and love her so much.

I will miss you Rosie, we were neighbors for 26 years. Every year you made for me and many others zucchini bread. It was so good. I know you are in peace now, but I will miss you very much. You were there for me to check in every day on my mom so I could work. I love everything about you and you will never be forgotten ♥

Some of my favorite memories of Rose:
Her joy in watching toddler Danny run around and be pleasant not matter how tired he was. 10:00 on the 1st Christmas after he learned to walk and just running around giggling even though he was obviously exhausted; it just made her laugh and laugh.
The sheer delight she took in Emily, who insisted on wearing black olives on every finger and thumb, and then eating them one by one. She ALWAYS made sure to put black olives on her table, just for Emily.
The way she ALWAYS made TINY meatballs and set them aside for my nephew Adam, who didn't really care for the Italian Wedding Soup, but loved the little meatballs and the broth. She was a kind, caring, beautiful soul, who will be missed very much by all of us.
