Obituary of Margaret M. Houwen

Margaret M. Houwen (née Farrant), 72 years, of Bensalem PA, passed away on October 17, 2021. Daughter of the late James and Rita (née McGuire) Farrant. Beloved wife of the late John Houwen. Loving stepmother of Laura (Dan) Taglialatella and Susan Houwen. Dear sister of Richard Farrant (Lee), Marie Nealis (Robert), Kathleen Farrant (James Smith) Robert Farrant (Elizabeth) and the late Fr. James Farrant and Rita Culbertson (Harry). Cherished grandmother of June Taglialatella, Johnny Taglialatella and Xavier Lee-Houwen.

Marge took great pride in her life’s work as a neonatal nurse.  Countless families in the PhIladelphia area were supported by Marge’s loving care of infants in the NICU, and by her home visits with parents to aid in their continued progress.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Thursday evening from 6:30PM to 8:00PM at the DANKS-HINSKI FUNERAL HOME, 125 N. WHITE HORSE PIKE, LINDENWOLD NJ 08021. Funeral service 8:00PM at the funeral home. Interment of ashes will take place Tuesday October 26^th 11:00AM at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Marge’s name to St Jude Children's Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105 would be appreciated.
