Obituary of Martha P. Zolinas
Martha P. Zolinas “Patsy”, 67 years, of Laurel Springs NJ, passed away on June 25, 2021. She will always be a Rockstar. Patsy is the daughter of the late James Patrick Zolinas, Sr and Martha Charlotte Zolinas. She is the sister to Catherine Marie Zolinas and James Patrick Zolinas, Jr. and his wife Sherry, and also Stephen Devine and his wife Linda. She is beloved aunt to their children and their families: Katie and Ervin Santiago and their children Francisco and Alyssa Santiago and also Erica and Steve McDermott and their son Leon Zolinas and all of the Devine clan. She is the mother of Jennifer Elizabeth Zolinas and son-in-law Benjamin Mejia and grandmother of Greta Simone Zolinas. And finally, she is a lifetime devotee to Jennifer’s father and love of her life, James Andrew Devine.
She was the epitome of the Zolinas name: fearless and strong with the heart of a Lion; not a coincidence she was a Leo. Her backyard was her pride and she’d watch over it regularly. Most likely she’d have wine in hand on her deck which she said made her outdoorsy (ha ha). The speed at which she could read and remember information was diabolical. Her love of music and fine dining were as badass and lavish as she. And with all of these things, what she wanted most was to share them with others. She loved her family and touched every person she met with a ripple effect.
She was a proud fur mom with her bestie and sister Catherine and loved the adventures they had. And She loved going to rock concerts with her little brother Jimmy. But what she was to most was the light at the Pufferbelly where she dedicated decades and then carried that light to the Stratford Diner. People were drawn to her and then soon found out she was a true g.o.a.t. The realest of real.
She will be missed beyond measure.
To respect her wishes, there will not be a service. While flowers are always appreciated, donations are requested. If you choose to do so, please reach out to the family. She also adored the animals at funnyfarmrescue.org in South Jersey and know she would appreciate any donations to her little friends. Arrangements under the direction of the DANKS-HINSKI FUNERAL HOME, LINDENWOLD NJ. To leave lasting condolences or photos, please use the links on this page.
