Obituary of Herman Strickland Jr.

Herman Strickland Jr., son to Herman Strickland and Lelia Finney Strickland, was born on July 23, 1963 and passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021. Herman was 57 years old.

Herman grew up in the suburbs of Manhattan New York. He was a curious adolescent that enjoyed taking things apart and putting them back together. At an early age he became a boiler operator and carpenter and eventually established his own home renovation business.

Herman was well known and loved in the Philadelphia community for his keen skills and quick wit. He had a love for sports, especially football, the beach, animals, murder mysteries and CNN.

He is survived by his wife Lisa, his children from a previous marriage, LaToya T. Small, Christian H Strickland and Grandchildren.
