Obituary of Mary A. Magee

Mary Aloyisious McDonald Magee, was born on June 21, 1921.  She made her way to heaven Jan 18, 2021.  Devoted wife of the late William H. Magee. Beloved mother of Patricia (Thomas Maletto), Timothy (Donna Mascoli), Regina (Smitty Smith), Gerald (Mary Kate Daly), Francis (Ann Strathmeyer), Eleanor, Loretta (Thomas Kozieja), and Gail (Gary Jeral) and the late Mary Magee Dobbins and William H. Magee, Jr. She was the Grandmother and great grandmother to fifty-four adoring children and mother figure to countless others.

Born in Philadelphia, raised in the Ascension Parish, she was a proud graduate of Hallahan High School Class of ‘39. Mary moved to Somerdale where she became an integral member of Our Lady of Grace Parish. While raising 9 children, Mary worked at Gimbels in Philadelphia until retirement.

Mary Magee was elegant, brilliant, and faithful.  Her family was her life and the world is a better place because of her. She will forever be missed. She is with her parents, children, brothers and sisters now while she is dancing with her man in heaven.
